# microG Installer Resurrected

Magisk module installing microG apps as privileged system apps. Based
on nift4's 3.4.4-0 microG\_Installer\_Revived.

# How to use
1. Clone this git repository.
2. Go [here](https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/releases) and download
   `com.android.vending-*.apk` and `com.android.gms-*.apk` (regular,
   not hw). Copy them, repsectively, to the cloned repo's
   `system/priv-app/Phonesky` and `system/priv-app/GmsCore`
   directories.
3. Go [here](https://github.com/microg/GsfProxy/releases) and download
   `GsfProxy.apk`. Copy it to the cloned repo's
   `system/priv-app/GsfProxy` directory.
5. Download
   [MapsV1](https://github.com/microg/android_frameworks_mapsv1/releases),
   and unzip it. Copy the `com.google.android.maps.jar` from
   `system/framework` to the same directory in the repository.
6. Either run the `pack.sh` script in the root directory, or pack the
   module yourself into a .zip file.
7. Install the module in Magisk.
8. Enjoy your working installation of microG.
